A grisly discovery in a storage unit off Liberty Road in Natchez, where what’s believed to be a human fetus was found inside a box of paper towels. It’s believed to have been 16 to 24 weeks along, though that still has to be confirmed. The remains are being sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy, which will hopefully shed some light on the case. There are also concerns about the health of the mother, as the coroner says she definitely would’ve needed medical attention for bleeding and possible infections as a result of giving birth. The results of the autopsy are expected back in just a few days.
